CSIM Dragons take home 8 medals and 6 city championship qualifiers today at the NYC PSAL B Division Individual Championships. In the medal rounds, the Dragons grabbed 3 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze. Medal Round Results: 1st Place - Mohammed Mousa (119), Sher Mohammad (152), & Ben Wasserman (215). 2nd Place - Michelle Cabrera (96), Bryce Cammarata (125), & Ian Urcinoli (160) 3rd Place - Trystan Gangi (119) & James MaCalareny (285) 4th Place - Zeke Ephraim (135) & Hector Torres (189) Add Comment Pins by Tyler Graziano (112), Mohammed Mousa (119, 40 seconds), Trystan Gangi (125) and Sher Mohammed (152, 53 seconds) started the Dragons off in the right direction against Aviation HS in Long Island City, Queens. The Urcinoli brothers (160 & 171) added wins as well as Hector Torres (189) who won by fall in 1:13.  Dragons move to 4-0 12/10/2010
Dragons move to 4-0 as Mo Mousa wrestles up and earns huge win at 130lb. Sher (152), Lito (103), Ben (215) and Martucci (171) added pin decisions to secure the teams 4th win. Michelle Cabrera (96) wrestled very tough in her first dual meet match.  Dragons off to 3-0 start! 12/08/2010
The 2010-2011 Dragons got off to a quick start this season with wins over William Grady (Brooklyn), Beacon HS (Manhattan), and Hillcrest (Queens). Ben Wasserman posted wins in all the three matches. Stephen Urcinoli (189) had a come from behind pin against Hillcrest HS in the last match of the evening to keep the Dragons undefeated.    Dragons finish 1st season 8-1 01/30/2010
The CSIM Dragons finished their first dual meet season with a record of 8-1 in the PSAL Developmental Division, finishing second behind undefeated Forest Hills in Queens (10-0). It was a very successful season, as the Dragons became wrestlers, and came together as a team.          Dragons post first win in opening match! 12/12/2009
It took one match, but the CSIM Dragons posted their first win as a PSAL wrestling team with a victory over Erasmus Hall in Brooklyn. Sher Mohammed & Ben Wasserman posted pins in the win.  |
