For the first time in team history, the CSIM Dragons competed in the SI Dual Meet Championships. After the first day, the Dragons starting the 2 day tournament 0-3, losing to highly ranked CHSAA St. Joseph by the Sea, defending PSAL city champions Curtis HS, and a tough Farrell "B" team.

The Dragons posted a winning record on day two, going 3-2, with wins over St. Peters, Port Richmond, and Susan Wagner HS. Losses came to eventual tournament winner Petrides, and Tottenville HS.  In their first year as a Varsity squad, the CSIm Dragons finished in 6th place of all island teams. 

Highlights from the tournament included Eduardo Ramirez (103) posting 7 wins (6 pins), Tyler Graziano (112) earning 6 wins (5 pins), James Mcalarny (285) going 6-0 (4 pins), and Ben Wasserman notching 5 wins at 215lb (4 pins).
